Learning is an important part of our walk with God. When we learn together, we grow closer to God and one another. The following are some examples of the opportunities that we provide for adults to grow:
9:00 a.m: We gather the basement of the church, and enjoy an informal, conversational style of class.
9:00 a.m. Daniel Plan Study | This group is studying healthy living, and how it connects to our life of faith.
*Childcare is available during Adult Sunday School and worship.
Meets every Monday at Shelly Rollins’ home in Dyersville.
Contact the church office (email@example.com) for more info.
This group of guys meets on Thursdays evenings (locations vary). They study together and participate in service projects. Contact Pat Schwartz for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Third Monday of Each Month at 7:00 pm.
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Some of our projects include filling and delivering Love Buckets to persons who are home bound in February, making and selling turkey & dressing sandwiches for the Spring garage sale days, enjoying a potluck luncheon at the Arboretum, supporting Vacation Bible School, preparing the meal for our Annual Auction in October, making school kits and a baby quilt for the Thanksgiving Ingathering, and enjoying a Christmas program and Cookie Exchange in December.
